Vision Boards are dumb…if you don’t use them right :) by Alissa Daire Nelson | Jun 30, 2017 | Facebook | 5 comments Connect on Facebook Share Powered by the Simple Social Press Vision Boards are dumb…if you don’t use them right 🙂 5 Comments Anonymous on July 1, 2017 at 1:10 pm This is SUCH an important point! I always wasted this activity based on “should” this and “should” that, especially when I was creating them with others – such as coworkers. Once I used it as a reminder, as a visualization tool, it finally kicked the law of attraction into gear and when I gave in to the law of RECEIVING, I was blown away by opportunity! Reply Daire Success Coaching on July 7, 2017 at 3:52 pm Yes! You got it! What’s on your vision board? Reply Anonymous on July 7, 2017 at 6:28 pm My team got together at our co-founders’ house with an enormous stack of magazines, were tasked with selecting a single word to represent our vision for the year, and we were off! I included my short-term goals (ex: growing into my role), my long-term goals (ex: supporting at-risk youth), and great design features to keep my focus on the design of the whole picture. My word was Faith because I was scared to death, new to everything, and I had to focus on having the support faith brings that everything is going to be alright. It reminded me to focus on what I was doing and why, not focus on fear. Reply Daire Success Coaching on July 7, 2017 at 6:56 pm This is great! It’s easier to walk through fear when you know what’s on the other side! What’s your business? Looks awesome! Reply Anonymous on July 7, 2017 at 8:42 pm It was an awesome real estate group, so much fun to work with! I’m in the process of transitioning to a new team, but I will definitely be bringing my vision board with me on this new venture.
